Southern Company subsidiary PowerSecure has entered into an agreement to deliver an integrated backup power solution at Keel Infrastructure’s data centre campus located in Moses Lake, Washington, US.
The partnership aims to enhance operational continuity and support future capacity needs for the growing site.

Under the terms of the deal, PowerSecure will design and implement a tailored standby power setup specifically for the Moses Lake campus.
The system will use PowerSecure PowerBlocks, which are modular and integrated power generation platforms combining onsite generation, controls, and electrical infrastructure.
This approach is intended to provide reliable backup power and enable scalability as the data centre expands.
Keel Infrastructure continues to invest in digital infrastructure development amid increasing requirements for stable and scalable energy provision within the sector.

The planned infrastructure helps optimise energy usage during high-demand periods.
PowerSecure’s engineering and project delivery teams have worked to align the system requirements and delivery schedules for the site, with the aim of providing continuous performance and efficient installation.
The company has developed, installed, managed, and serviced more than 2GW of microgrid capacity and completed energy efficiency upgrades valued at over $900m.
