Digital infrastructure provider OneQode has entered into an agreement with AdaniConneX to secure 14MW of data centre capacity in Siruseri Sipcot, Chennai, India.

The contract represents OneQode’s initial major AI infrastructure project in India.

Both companies are currently holding discussions regarding potential capacity expansions of up to 114MW, which OneQode estimates could deliver more than $6bn in graphics processing unit (GPU)-as-a-service total contract value revenue.

The capacity at the Chennai data centre is designated to handle large-scale AI training and inference, alongside enterprise systems and sovereign computing workloads.

This Indian site is positioned to serve latency-sensitive inference operations across both territories by linking high-volume processing capabilities directly to OneQode’s dedicated telecommunications network.

The installation also complements an ongoing infrastructure project in Thailand as part of the company’s regional footprint.

OneQode EMEA and India chief growth officer and president Johnny Blackfield said: “India is becoming one of the most important markets for AI infrastructure globally. Working with AdaniConneX gives us a strong foundation to build at scale in Chennai.

“We have secured our initial 14MW deployment and are continuing discussions with AdaniConneX on additional capacity opportunities of up to 114MW in India as demand grows.

“The combination of infrastructure, competitive operating costs and room to scale makes India a compelling market for our customers.”

The Chennai site will integrate into OneQode’s established international network, which spans over 30 data centres across five continents.

Hardware deployment at the facility will build on a partnership finalised with AMD in May 2026 to incorporate AMD Instinct GPUs.

In addition, the firm intends to implement the AMD Helios rack-scale architecture as part of its broader infrastructure rollout.

OneQode designs, constructs, owns, and manages compute and network environments tailored to the capacity, latency, and sovereignty criteria of enterprise clients, frontier model developers, and AI businesses.

Its operating model integrates licenced carrier status and compliance protocols to facilitate real-time applications and sovereign data hosting across target territories.

Earlier this month, CoreWeave partnered with AdaniConneX to secure 240MW of data centre capacity in Navi Mumbai, marking its entry into India.
