NAVER, in collaboration with Brookfield and Nvidia, has announced plans to expand the AI factory infrastructure at its GAK Sejong hyperscale data centre in Sejong, South Korea.
The investment will increase the deployment of Nvidia DSX AI factory from an initial 55MW to 200MW.

This development was highlighted during Korean President Jae Myung Lee’s AI Summit visit to San Francisco.
The project is expected to provide production-level AI compute resources to both Korean and US-based AI developers. These resources will be used for the development of AI models, agents, and services.
According to the terms disclosed, Brookfield will serve as the exclusive capital partner, providing up to $9bn in funding. Nvidia will contribute $1bn, while NAVER will supply the remaining funds, bringing the total investment to $10bn.
The expanded facility will utilise the Nvidia DSX platform and features the Vera Rubin and Blackwell platforms.
The new infrastructure aims to support AI companies with necessary compute power, software, and other resources, facilitating the creation and deployment of AI models and applications at scale.
NAVER’s partnership with Nvidia also includes collaboration in open model development for agentic and physical AI.

NAVER, as an Nvidia Cloud Partner, brings expertise in managing large-scale data centre infrastructure.
The company is working to advance its HyperCLOVA X models using Nvidia Nemotron 3 Ultra open models.
In addition, NAVER plans to launch an AI agent platform in Korea later this year and is developing a Seoul World Model with proprietary data, underpinned by Nvidia Cosmos world foundation models.
