Access deeper industry intelligence
Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
Intrinsic Power intends to use the investment to further develop its software platform and increase its presence in the AI data centre sector.
The shift towards AI has increased the need for advanced electrical infrastructure, with power availability now seen as a primary constraint for new data centre projects.
Intrinsic Power said that its AI orchestration solution provides real-time monitoring, capacity prediction, and coordination of distributed energy resources across whole facilities.
The platform aims to help operators treat electrical assets as part of an integrated system, allowing for improved resiliency and better use of existing electrical capacity.
Intrinsic Power co-founder and CEO Broc TenHouten said: “Intrinsic Power was founded on the belief that electrical infrastructure should be intelligent, adaptive, and capable of optimising itself in real time.
“As AI infrastructure and data centres rapidly increase demand for electricity, our platform is uniquely positioned to help customers unlock additional grid capacity, improve resiliency, and accelerate deployment without waiting for costly infrastructure upgrades.
“Our mission is to build the AI operating layer for modern, distributed electrical systems, and we’re excited to partner with investors who share that long-term vision.”
Funds from this round are also planned to support product development, expansion of engineering teams, customer projects, and new partnerships, with a particular focus on AI data centres and other critical infrastructure markets where electricity demand is rising.
