Hexagon Composites’ subsidiary Hexagon Agility has received an order valued at Nkr1bn ($100m) for mobile pipeline modules from Certarus, to service data centre demand.
Certarus, which supplies mobile compressed natural gas (CNG) solutions in North America, will use the new modules, including the recently launched TITAN 510, to meet rising energy demand from large-scale data centres and industrial customers.

The agreement includes an option for Certarus to purchase additional modules through 2028, potentially increasing the total value by up to Nkr250m ($25m).
Delivery of the mobile pipeline modules is scheduled to begin in the third quarter (Q3) of 2026, with most units expected to be delivered over the following year and final shipments completed by 2028.
Hexagon Agility’s TITAN 450 and TITAN 510 mobile pipeline modules are designed to support Certarus’ expanding fleet and a growing number of contracts, particularly those serving hyperscale data centre projects.
The TITAN 510 module features a 13% higher volume capacity than its predecessor, the TITAN 450.
Hexagon Composites CEO Philipp Schramm said: “We’re proud to continue building on our more than decade-long collaboration with Certarus, developing technology to address critical infrastructure gaps in how energy is delivered.
“It is very encouraging to see our long term focus on innovation directly supporting emerging, energy intensive applications such as data centres, while remaining fully mobile and redeployable as our customers’ requirements continue to evolve.”
Hexagon Agility stated that industry demand for virtual pipeline solutions has been rising, as sectors including data centres, utilities, mining, and renewable natural gas look for alternatives to conventional energy delivery.
Data centres in the US are experiencing a surge in energy requirements driven by the growth of cloud services and AI.
Certarus, a division of Superior Plus, supplies CNG, renewable natural gas, and hydrogen across North America, servicing data centres and several other sectors.
