Equinix has expanded its partnership with Cisco and Nvidia to simplify the deployment of AI infrastructure for enterprise customers across its international network of data centres.
The digital infrastructure company will offer customers the ability to deploy the Cisco Secure AI Factory with Nvidia technology. This includes standardised blueprints and automation tools designed to ease and accelerate the implementation of AI-related workloads.

Equinix stated that this approach seeks to provide organisations with the required interconnection density, specialised power, and advanced cooling needs for large-scale AI operations.
The deployment builds on Nvidia reference architectures to match how enterprises typically purchase and manage technology, working in partnership with well-established providers and utilising existing, familiar infrastructure.
In conjunction with this initiative, Equinix is working with technology services company Presidio to establish the Programmable AI Technology Hub (P.A.T.H.) Lab within its data centres.
The lab will serve as a practical environment where customers can test, validate and refine their AI infrastructure before a broader rollout across the organisation.
According to Equinix, this enables enterprises to make informed decisions about scaling AI projects, based on hands-on experience with production-grade infrastructure.

Presidio has worked with Equinix to develop the P.A.T.H. Lab, using Cisco Secure AI Factory with Nvidia as its foundation.
