ConnectWise has opened a new data centre in Australia to support its x360Recover business continuity and disaster recovery (BCDR) suite.
The move expands options for managed service providers (MSPs), internal IT teams and their customers across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

The new facility offers partners the ability to store x360Recover backup data locally, allowing organisations to meet data residency requirements without altering their existing recovery workflows.
It holds SOC 2 Type II certification and aims to reduce latency for backup and recovery operations by bringing x360Recover infrastructure closer to end users in APAC.
The deployment is one of several product enhancements announced by the company as it seeks to strengthen support for partners dealing with ransomware, hardware failures, outages, and other forms of business disruption.

ConnectWise is offering both hardware-agnostic deployment and turnkey BCDR hardware options, enabling partners to choose how they deploy and manage their recovery infrastructure.
x360Recover is integrated into the ConnectWise Platform in APAC, including automation with ConnectWise SIEM for streamlined transition from incident detection to data restoration.
The platform includes automated backup integrity testing, direct-to-cloud as well as appliance-based protection, centralised management tools, and recovery features tailored to business continuity needs.
The solution aims to scale from individual servers to complex MSP environments handling thousands of endpoints.
MSPs and IT teams can test recovery readiness consistently, manage deployments with less operational overhead, and consolidate backup and security functions within a single ecosystem.
ConnectWise expects to further expand data-protection offerings in APAC with the upcoming launch of x360Cloud for Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace backup.
