Flexential has acquired 110 acres site in Kaufman County, Texas, US, to construct a data centre facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth region.
The company plans to begin site work in early 2027, with the first phase expected to be available to customers by late 2028. This development will mark Flexential’s fourth data centre in the Dallas area.

The planned campus, located in Talty, southeast of the metroplex, is set to launch with a 375,000ft² building and an initial power capacity of 36MW designed for wholesale and multi-tenant colocation demands, including enterprise and high-density requirements.
Over subsequent phases, the site holds potential for two additional 36MW buildings, bringing the total possible capacity to 108MW.
Power to the campus will be ramped up in stages to limit strain on the local grid. Flexential aims to implement high-efficiency electrical systems and closed-loop cooling, targeting a water usage effectiveness (WUE) of zero.
This approach is intended to reduce both energy consumption per megawatt and water use, building on existing company initiatives in resource efficiency and sustainable design.
Flexential CEO Ryan Mallory said: “Dallas has the strongest combination of demand, infrastructure, and growth potential of any data centre market in the country, and the development pipeline can’t keep pace.
“Companies are planning two and three years out and still struggle to secure the infrastructure they need. This property will let us deliver large-scale capacity designed around our customers’ requirements instead of asking them to adapt to whatever happens to be available.”
Flexential currently operates three Dallas-area data centres in downtown Dallas, Plano, and Richardson, totalling over 459,000ft² and 28.4MW.
The company’s broader US portfolio comprises more than 40 data centres and over 380MW of capacity across 18 markets.
