US-based AI cloud infrastructure provider CoreWeave has partnered with AdaniConneX to secure 240MW of data centre capacity in Navi Mumbai, marking its entry into India.
Under the arrangement, CoreWeave will serve as the sole tenant across three 80MW buildings situated at AdaniConneX’s Taloja campus.

Experience unmatched clarity with a single platform that combines unique data, AI, and human expertise.
The facilities are being engineered for high-density AI computing, featuring direct liquid cooling for graphics processing unit (GPU) data halls and a non-evaporative chilled water system designed to accommodate future computing architectures.
This agreement also provides CoreWeave with an option to double its footprint at the location by adding up to 240MW of additional capacity.
The first phase of the Taloja development is scheduled to become operational in mid-2028, with subsequent capacity arriving in phases.
CoreWeave plans to deploy the Nvidia Vera Rubin Platform at the site to support complex AI training, reasoning, inference, and agentic workloads.
According to the company, the project aligns with domestic data centre investment and national initiatives such as the IndiaAI Mission, while providing regional enterprises with access to specialised compute, software, and services.
CoreWeave chief operating officer Sachin Jain said: “India has the talent, developers, and ambition to become a major centre of AI innovation.
“We are investing in the infrastructure, technology, and local presence needed to support that growth, bringing 240MW of capacity, Nvidia Vera Rubin, and CoreWeave’s expertise to customers building and scaling AI in India.”
To support the physical deployment, CoreWeave intends to open an office and recruit local staff within India to collaborate with customers and partners.
The expansion into India follows the company’s recent entry into Indonesia, adding to an operating footprint across North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.
As of its 11 August 2026 earnings call, CoreWeave had approximately 4.2GW of contracted power.
AdaniConneX, which is providing the campus infrastructure, operates as a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX. The venture aims to construct a 1GW data centre infrastructure platform across India.
