Salute has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire T5 Operations, marking a significant step in enhancing its capabilities in the data centre sector.
The acquisition of the T5 Data Centers unit remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.

Following the completion of the deal, Salute plans to increase its operational capabilities within the data centre sector.
The company will serve a client base that includes hyperscale clients, major operators, and organisations developing AI, high-performance computing (HPC), and cloud infrastructure.
The deal brings together Salute’s services with the experience T5 Operations has developed in facility management, operations, and commissioning, along with expertise in liquid cooling technologies.

Once the deal is finalised, Salute’s data centre management portfolio will extend to more than 15GW across over 150 markets worldwide, with total staff increasing to more than 3,800.
This will broaden its ability to support clients globally and share practices for data centre operations.
T5 Data Centers chairman and CEO Pete Marin will join the Salute board.
As part of further changes at T5 Services, the former T5 Construction division has been rebranded as EverOn Data Center Services, a separate construction company focused on digital infrastructure projects.
Simpson Thacher & Bartlett acted as legal counsel for Salute. T5 Operations received financial advice from Lazard and legal guidance from King & Spalding.
