The project is expected to feature a major hyperscale tenant as the anchor occupant, although the names of the counterparty, anchor tenant and co-investors have not been disclosed.

InfraTech Capital stated that these details will be made public after due diligence is finalised.

The investment also includes support for fibre optic cable manufacturing capacity, with new production lines being developed alongside a major global manufacturing partner.

The company said this aspect of the project aims to address the fibre requirements of the data centre campus as well as other large digital infrastructure efforts.

InfraTech Capital president and CEO Luiz Fuschini said: “This initiative reflects the scale and conviction InfraTech Capital brings to digital infrastructure. A campus of this scale represents exactly the kind of long-term infrastructure our platform is built to support, while our parallel investment in fibre optic production ensures the network layer keeps pace. We are proud to help build the backbone the digital economy will depend on for years to come.”

The data centre development is part of InfraTech Capital’s broader activities in digital infrastructure, energy transition, and real asset platforms.

The company is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, and works with institutional investors on long-term infrastructure projects.

Further information, including the identities of partners and investors, is expected once agreements are finalised.
